A message from our founder
Melissa Melay
Founder, Uixxie
When I first began navigating PCOS, I thought having a name for what I was experiencing would finally bring clarity.
Instead, I found myself with more questions than answers.
I spent countless hours researching, trying to understand what was happening in my body, exploring different tools, and searching for information that actually made sense to me.
There were moments of frustration, confusion, and exhaustion. And through it all, I kept wishing there was somewhere I could turn that made everything feel a little less overwhelming.
That's where the idea for Uixxie began.
I didn't create Uixxie because I had all the answers. I created it because I knew what it felt like not to have them.
I wanted to build something that could help people understand PCOS without making them feel like they needed a medical degree to get started. Something that recognizes how individual this condition can be, while offering practical ways to learn, organize, and better understand your own experiences.
Uixxie is still growing, and so am I.
But one thing will remain the same: the people we serve will always matter more than the features we build.
If Uixxie can help even one person feel a little less confused, a little more informed, or a little less alone than I once did, then we're building something worthwhile.
