Uixxie is operated by Uixxie Limited Co. (“Uixxie,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

Uixxie is a health and wellness tracking application designed to help users organize and better understand information related to their PCOS experience, including nutrition, symptoms, menstrual cycles, medications, weight, body changes, habits, and educational content.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Uixxie collects, how we use it, when information may be shared with service providers, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

Uixxie is intended for users age 18 and older.

Uixxie is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Information provided through Uixxie is for educational, organizational, and wellness-support purposes and is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

1. Information We Collect

The information Uixxie collects depends on the features you choose to use.

Account Information

When you create or maintain an account, we may collect:

• Email address
• Name or profile name
• Authentication information needed to sign you in
• Account preferences and settings
• Confirmation that you meet Uixxie’s minimum age requirement

Uixxie does not require or store your date of birth, birth year, or exact age as part of its current age-confirmation process.

If you choose to sign in using a supported third-party provider such as Google, we may receive information necessary to authenticate your account, such as your email address and basic account information.

2. Health and Wellness Information You Choose to Provide

Because Uixxie is designed around PCOS tracking and education, you may choose to enter personal and sensitive health-related information.

This may include:

• Symptoms and symptom history
• Menstrual cycle information
• Period and ovulation tracking information
• PCOS-related traits and patterns
• Medication and supplement information
• Medication schedules, doses, and check-ins
• Food and nutrition logs
• Calories, macronutrients, and nutrient information
• Hydration information
• Cravings and food-related observations
• Weight history
• Body measurements
• Lifestyle and habit information
• Wellness goals
• Body Lens information
• Notes you create
• Information you provide while using Nyii or other AI-supported features
• Other health or wellness information you voluntarily enter

You control what information you choose to log. You are not required to provide every type of health information to use every part of Uixxie.

3. Food and Nutrition Information

When you use Uixxie’s food-journaling tools, we may process information such as:

• Foods and beverages you log
• Serving sizes
• Nutrition information
• Food-search terms
• Product barcodes
• Meal timing or meal categories
• Hydration
• Food-related symptoms, cravings, or observations

Uixxie may use third-party food-data services to retrieve nutrition and product information.

Current food-data sources may include:

• Edamam
• USDA FoodData Central

When these services are used, Uixxie may send a food-search term, food identifier, or barcode needed to perform the search. Uixxie does not intentionally send your Uixxie health profile or account credentials to those food databases as part of a standard food search.

4. Nyii and AI-Supported Features

Uixxie includes AI-supported features, including Nyii, designed to help you understand information you have logged, navigate educational content, recognize patterns, and ask questions about your Uixxie experience.

When you use AI-supported features, Uixxie may process:

• Questions or messages you submit
• Relevant information you have logged in Uixxie
• Conversation history
• Context needed to answer your question
• Patterns, summaries, or insights generated from your Uixxie data

This information may be processed using Uixxie’s application infrastructure and service providers used to operate these features.

AI-generated responses can be incomplete or inaccurate. They should not be relied upon as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. Photos, Screenshots, and Images

Uixxie may allow you to voluntarily provide an image or screenshot for certain features, such as submitting a bug report or requesting technical support.

Images you submit are used for the purpose for which you provided them, such as:

• Diagnosing an app problem
• Reviewing a bug report
• Responding to a support request

You should avoid including information in screenshots that you do not want Uixxie to receive.

6. Camera Access

Uixxie may request access to your device camera when you choose to use features such as barcode scanning.

Camera access is used to perform the feature you requested.

Uixxie does not intentionally store photographs captured during ordinary barcode scanning unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise.

7. Technical and Usage Information

Uixxie may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

This may include:

• Device or browser information
• Authentication and session information
• App interactions
• Search activity needed to provide requested features
• Error and diagnostic information
• Device identifiers where used by the underlying platform
• IP address when needed for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, or rate limiting

For example, Uixxie may temporarily process an IP address when protecting sensitive features such as external account-deletion requests from automated abuse.

8. Notifications

If you enable notifications or reminders, Uixxie may process:

• Your notification preferences
• Reminder settings
• Information needed to determine which notices you have chosen to receive

You can change applicable notification preferences within Uixxie and, where available, through your device or browser settings.

Notifications are optional and are not required to use Uixxie’s core tracking features.

9. How We Use Your Information

We may use information collected through Uixxie to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Authenticate you and protect your account
• Provide symptom, medication, cycle, food, weight, measurement, and wellness tracking
• Display your saved history and progress
• Generate summaries, patterns, and personalized insights
• Provide Nyii and other AI-supported features
• Recommend relevant educational content
• Provide reminders and notifications you choose to enable
• Respond to support requests and bug reports
• Maintain and improve app functionality
• Diagnose technical problems
• Detect fraud, misuse, abuse, or security threats
• Enforce Uixxie’s age requirement
• Process account-deletion and privacy requests
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your health information to determine employment eligibility, insurance eligibility, lending eligibility, or creditworthiness.

We do not sell your personal or health information.

10. How We Share Information

Uixxie does not sell your personal information.

We may provide limited information to service providers when necessary for them to perform services on our behalf.

These services may include:

• Application hosting
• Backend infrastructure
• Database and file storage
• Authentication
• Email delivery
• AI-supported functionality
• Food and nutrition database searches
• Analytics and technical operations
• Security and abuse prevention

Uixxie currently uses Base44 infrastructure for portions of application hosting, authentication, backend processing, storage, email delivery, and related application functionality.

Uixxie may also use:

• Google for supported authentication features
• Edamam for certain food and nutrition searches
• USDA FoodData Central for certain food and nutrition searches

Service providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable service.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request
• Protect the rights, safety, or security of Uixxie, our users, or others
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of applicable terms
• Complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable privacy requirements

11. Health Information and Advertising

Uixxie treats health and reproductive-health information as sensitive information.

• We do not sell health information.
• We do not use your health information for targeted advertising.
• We do not provide health information to employers, insurance companies, credit providers, or similar organizations for decisions about employment, insurance eligibility, credit, or lending.

12. Data Security

Uixxie uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and sensitive information.

Depending on the feature, these protections may include:

• Account authentication
• User-level data isolation
• Access controls
• Restricted server-side access to sensitive operational information
• Secure backend processing
• HTTPS encryption in transit
• Limited-use verification credentials
• Hashed or otherwise protected verification tokens
• Rate limiting and abuse-prevention controls
• Restricted access to account-deletion verification records

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Although we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide Uixxie
• Maintain your account
• Preserve information you choose to save
• Respond to support or security issues
• Prevent fraud or abuse
• Meet applicable legal or operational requirements

Different types of information may be retained for different periods.

Information you save in Uixxie generally remains associated with your account until you remove it through available features or permanently delete your account.

Short-lived security information, such as account-deletion verification codes and deletion-session credentials, expires automatically and is removed when it is no longer needed.

Support and technical records may be retained for a reasonable period when needed to resolve issues, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

14. Account and Data Deletion

You may permanently delete your Uixxie account.

You may initiate account deletion through Uixxie’s account or settings controls.

From the web

You may also request deletion without having the Uixxie app installed by visiting:

The external deletion process requires verification of the email address associated with the Uixxie account.

When account deletion is successfully completed, Uixxie deletes the account and associated Uixxie user data included in the account-deletion process.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Some information may be retained when required by applicable law or where necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

15. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on the feature and the laws that apply where you live, you may have choices or rights regarding your personal information.

These may include the ability to:

• Choose which health and wellness information to provide
• Edit or remove information where controls are available
• Change notification preferences
• Choose whether to use optional features
• Request information about how your data is handled
• Request correction or deletion of certain information
• Permanently delete your Uixxie account
• Stop using Uixxie
• Contact us with a privacy question or request

16. Age Requirement and Younger Users

Uixxie is intended for users age 18 and older.

Users are required to confirm that they are at least 18 years old before accessing Uixxie.

Uixxie currently uses a minimum-age confirmation rather than collecting your date of birth, birth year, or exact age.

Uixxie is not directed to children under 18.

If we learn that personal information has been collected from a person under 18 in circumstances where it should not have been collected, we may take appropriate steps to restrict access and address or delete the information as required by applicable law.

17. Third-Party Links and Resources

Uixxie may provide links to educational resources or information operated by third parties.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services that we do not operate.

If you leave Uixxie to visit another service, that service’s own privacy policy applies to information you provide there.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Uixxie changes, when our data practices change, or when required by law or platform policy.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice within Uixxie or through another appropriate method.

The Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when the current version became effective.
